Located in the Summit Valley of Hesperia at the gateway to the Pacific Crest Trail, River Forks offers camping under wide open skies away from city hustle and bustle. Convenient access to boating and fishing on Silverwood Lake. From there it is not much further to the San Bernardino Crest and other destinations like Lake Gregory, and Rim of the World Hwy. Adventures near Mojave River Forks include the Pacific Crest Trail and Deep Creek Hot Springs. Staying at this campground provides access to it all from a different and less-crowded angle than the typical routes from San Bernardino or Big Bear. The park provides serenity for those who enjoy nature and wide open space. Mojave River Forks Campground is open year round. The entrance gate is closed promptly at 4pm until 8am seven days a week.
